What is the difference between Remy and Virgin Remy hair?
The term "Remy" refers to the way the hair is collected from the donors with the cuticles from root to tip. "Virgin" means the hair has not been chemically processed. All of Janellis' hair is virgin remy, making it the highest quality hair.
What is the difference between a lace and a silk closure?
Silk closures have a layer of silk as well as a layer of lace. Silk closure are thicker than lace and create a more realistic scalp-like appearance. Lace closures are thinner and to give the appearance of a natural scalp, it requires more technique which consists of tinting to match the skin tone and often a fabric is placed underneath to lessen the lace grids that are noticeable up close. One closure is not better than the other its simply a personal preference. Although lace closures last longer and are flatter they require more work to give it a natural look.
